i love this dock and indicators but when i aplly for OB it doesnt come close to right cause it is for mac. SO could somebody please port this mac dock skin to an OB skin with the indicators too

I got a few PM's on dA asking how to reflect icons with AveDesk so now I am just going to post this guide.

What You need:

AveDesk

GIMP or Photoshop

A Dock

Access to the icons in your dock

First, look at your dock and look at the first icon in it. Its most likely thats its going to be Finder or another icon substituted for finder. So, first, your going to open up Photoshop or GIMP, then open your icon with it. (Personally I use GIMP so that is what I will be showing in ...

Here's how to find the toolbar:

Open something like MS Paint, click "Save as"

You should now see a butt-ugly toolbar in the left side of the "save as" window

I modded my icons to be 128 x 128, and thus also 128 x 128 in that toolbar.... and there isn't space enough..

So, how can I hax/remove that ugly toolbar?

I saw a topic about this earlier but I can't goddam find it D:

My reason for coming here is because I love deskmodding...

I'm using windows XP and needless to say, it burns your eyes unless you fill a layer of skins and tweaks on top of it... I'm skinning it to look like OS X in every possible way, because my parents won't let me buy a mac

I'm mostly into gaming and computer stuff of all kinds..

What is the change that has the bar of icons or delete some shortcuts, such as removing the 'My Network Places' or leave the list without showing that bar ...

Is there any way to do that?

Constant Activity Drops

We're falling way down on all activity, to April levels when the site was only starting to get a boost in traffic. All activity (visitors, registrations, posts) has fallen 50% below last months levels, which were low as well. Seems to be like we're out of ideas to get something going on.

Anyone have any ideas or, no, - is anybody willing to DO something to get Galaxy GUI more promotion and activity before I give up?

I'm pretty much out of ideas, so this is the last time I'm trying to ...

This tutorial assumes that you have a jailbroken iPod Touch/iPhone with 2.0 or above firmware...

- So first you will need to install Winterboard from Cydia (search) as this is the best and safest app for theming your device.

*I would advise against customize as it's a little complex and buggy atm.

- Secondly you will need to find the theme you want to apply, a theme could be anything from an icon set to a complete UI change.

How to reflect icons - For dummies

THE guide of guides to convert your icons into reflective ones...

1. Download GNU Image Manipulation Program.... the GIMP... Here

2. Now download the reflection script here

3. Unpack the reflection script and place it at C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\scripts

4. Start up GIMP and go to Filthers -> Decor -> Reflection

5. Gratz, you should now have a reflected icon... not as pretty as a hand-made photoshop but surely a lot easier (and cheaper)

IPA Installer v0.5 [Note: This is for installing cracked app store applications. I will not release where you can find cracked applications for legal reasons but google should be just fine ]

Cydia Programs Needed: UUID Generator, Erica Utility, and Safari Download Plug-in.

Installing the App:

Download >IPA Installer.app< , unzip and SSH the IPAInstaller.app to your /Applications directory.

Set permissions to 777 recursively on IPAInstaller.app, then reboot your device.

Things you'll need (This only works with Windows or OS X unless you are using iTunes under WINE on Linux. Not sure if this will work on WINE as I haven't been able to test it yet.)

Audacity

Newest iTunes

iPhone (Doesn't need to be jail broken)

Full MP3 of a song. May not use songs bought from iTunes store as Audacity doesn't open them correctly.

First download Audacity if you haven't already. Make sure you have the newest iTunes version.

Navigate to the MP3 of the song ...
