To make it short...

How can I make the leopardbar.bmp image transparent or simply remove it from view? Since it's a .bmp file it doesn't support transparency, and when I simply tried to delete it from it's folder objectbar replaced it with a all-white bar.

Hope you guys can help.

I'd imagine there's a reason it can't be changed, that's why in .bmp maybe?

I'm not in the know with docks or Leopard, sorry!

No, I'm not talking about that kinda of transparency.

I mean, you see the leopardbar.bmp image that ob uses for the taskbar? How can I remove it so I only see the texts(finder, file etc.) like on my desk?

oh. Make a transparent file in photoshop the same size as the old leopard.bmp and save it. I believe it is possible to achive transparancy with bmp. If that doesnt work did you try just removing the file?

2nd choice: Install the skin I posted above, replace its tiger_bar.bmp with a transparent one (I believe they are png smile)

^^I've already done those(making the file transparent in photoshop and removing the file from the folder), and both achieved the same result: Ob replaces the bar with another completely white bar.

If someone knowledgeable enough in OB could tell me how can I make it use png files it would be cool.

I hate to burst your bubble but, Objectbar DOES NOT support .PNG. The only thing I can tell you to make your bar transparent is in the setting of the bar and change the OVERALL transparency of the bar. I would hope Stardock stop being lazy and update Objectbar already. Its really a good program, I use it all the time. Just needs updating and new features!
